Virginia could well be described as a boater’s paradise. From the shores of the Atlantic, and the magnificent Chesapeake Bay, to the many rivers and streams, to the increasingly popular Smith Mountain Lake, there is no shortage of places to “put in.” And as far as on-the-water activities go, regardless of your personal preferences, whether it be relaxing under the stars, fishing the lakes and streams, enjoying a kayaking adventures, skiing, or whatever, there are plenty places to have your fun on the water.
